1998 Hoffman George

The Hoffman George was designed as an all-round BMX for dirt jumping, park and flatland riding and sold in 1998 and 1999. The George was the lowest cost bike in the Hoffman line up of 7 bikes in 1998. Along with the chrome version the George was also available in Metallic Black. This bike was purchased new from BMX Mafia in Sydney, Australia and has remained completely original except for the upgraded Hoffman Love Handlebars and VP cage pedals. The bike required a minimum of work to bring it back to life. All chrome parts have had a citric bath treatment to remove rust. The bike has also been given a new set of Odyssey Gyro cables. The Alex 7X wheel set was stripped, cleaned and relaced with new stainless steel spokes and red anodized spoke nipples.
