This Hoffman Resistance had a dark, damp and muddy existance under a house in the North West Sydney suburbs - a customer wanted a low cost restoration to get it rideable again to maximise the re-sale value of the bike. The Hoffman Resistance was an all-round BMX for dirt jumping, park and flatland riding, sold in 2001 and 2002 and was the lowest cost bike in the Hoffman line up of 18 bikes in 2001. Available 3 colours: Black, Metallic Blue and Orange. This one was in 100% original condition, apart from a few years of caked on mud and sludge. A simple Strip & Rebuild, citric bath to remove rust from paint scratches and other metal parts. The wheels were stripped down and re-built with new spokes. Every part was stripped, cleaning and regreased before rebuilding. The bike cleaned up beautifully. The tyres didn't look as though they'd been ridden on. After this BMX restoration the bike was successfully sold and money spent re-couped.
